Songs of, by, and for talented accomplished women, featuring Le Perez with Rick Ferguson's trio. Le and Rick welcome guest vocalists (from left to right):

KOZUE HIRUMA returns after several successful shows at Angelicas 2018-19, her sixth appearance with Rick. Kozue sang pop and R&B music in Tokyo and on TV before coming to the US, where she has studied jazz with Katerina Brown and Kat Parra. She also performs at local restaurants and cafes.

NATALIA MKRTCHYAN performs across the Globe from Moscow to Europe to the U.S. Her fans admire her beautiful, warm and sexy voice, elegant and sophisticated style, passionate yet delicate manner of singing. Born in Baku, and a theater graduate of Moscow Art university, she's been winner or runner-up in several contests including the prestigious Grushinsky Festival (2018).

COLLETTE d'ALMEIDA with twin sister LIZETTE are Peninsula real estate brokers. Professional musicians since 1990, the twins have performed in the Bay Area, Europe and Hong Kong. They trained classically with opera star Alice Loh, and now with vocal professor Marcelle Dronkers. Lizette is a pianist, and Collette is a talented jazz drummer who has worked with Rick since 2011, appearing often at Angelicas.

ANNA KRUGLOVA designs and produces wool apparel and jewelry. This is her sixth appearance as a vocalist at Angelicas. She has studied with Katerina Brown and appeared often at Orange Music Studio in San Jose.

LE PEREZ is a San Jose marriage & family therapist who found her inspiration in gospel, blues and Motown growing up. She delights jazz audiences with her commanding voice and impressive range. Le has headlined at Angelicas, Savanna Jazz, Society Cabaret, Piano Fight, and festivals in the Bay Area. Appearing often with Rick Ferguson and band, she is also featured singer with SeaScape Sounds.

Bay Area attorney AKASHA PEREZ returns with her special sweet and joyful voice for a second appearance at Angelicas.

And we introduce DIANA, an accomplished hair stylist from Tashkent and Crimea by way of Mountain View, making her vocal debut for International Women's Day 2020.

RICK FERGUSON (piano) loves invention and delight. Rick has played venues from Chicago to Melbourne to Sedona to Kauai and the Bay Area, has two songs featured in a 2013 movie soundtrack, and recently played for the President of Ireland. He has accompanied such jazz vocalists as Kimberly Gordon and Joe Williams in Chicago and Sarah Marie Young, winner of the 2011 Montreux Jazz Festival Young Vocalist Competition. A regular at Angelicas and the Filoli Mansion, Rick works with established and emerging vocalists in the Bay Area.

MARTY HONDA on bass and violin joins Rick and Collette once again. The trio has played often together since meeting in 2010.
